It has been a very busy Summer in 2016. We have continued to deliver sessions on the Wythenshawe Growing Programme and we are now nearing the end. It is with some sadness that this wonderful programme finishes. We have had some fantastic experiences working with such diverse groups as The Birches Specialist Support Primary School to Brooklands Barnardo's Children's Centre. As we come to the end of this project, we are inspired to offer a visionary and flexible programme that encompasses the allotment year. Our aim is to offer a circular programme of activities that can be commissioned at any time of the year and be as many or few sessions as a group or organisation wish to engage with. Further information will be forthcoming - keep checking our Services page. Our work seems to be all about schools this year as we have installed raised beds and a log circle at Walkden High School on their grounds. The circle will be a wet weather outdoor classroom space too once we install the timber posts for tarpaulins to be hung over the space. This work is commissioned from City of Trees whom we enjoy working with on this and other projects including improving woodland areas in Wythenshawe such as Gorse Covert.
